MetMap Explorer

The petal plot is a radial visualization of the metastatic potential of each cell line as determined by the in vivo barcoding approach as described in the MetMap paper. This display method is intended to facilitate data comparison and pattern recognition. The current release has two versions: MetMap500 and MetMap125.

Petal length : Metastatic potential

DNA barcode abundance detected in each organ relative to the pre-injected population. Data are presented on a log10 scale, range from -4 ~ 4.

  • <= -4: non-metastatic
  • -4~-2: (weakly) metastatic, but with low confidence
  • >= -2: metastatic, with higher confidence

Petal width : Penetrance

Percentage of animals that the cell lines were detected via barcode sequencing. Data ranges 0~1.
